KLUANG: Kluang Umno division chief Md Jais Sarday wants party leaders including those holding posts in the Government to become peacemakers and not instigators.

He stressed that both party president Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and its deputy Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin should patch things up for the benefit of the party.

"If our parents are having a quarrel over a misunderstanding then it is the responsibility of the elder siblings to help them solve their differences instead of adding fuel to the fire," he said.

Md Jais, who is also Johor exco member, said this in his speech prior to the opening of the division meeting at Dewan Pekan Rabu, Sunday.

The meeting was launched by Muhyiddin who received a warm welcome.
