PETALING JAYA: Members of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) who have been appointed as ministers and deputy ministers will have to resign from the committee.
Deputy Dewan Rakyat Speaker Datuk Seri Ronald Kiandee said Standing Order 77 (4) reads “no member may be appointed or nominated to or act as Chairman or member of the PAC while he is a minister.”
