‘EC can only be taken to election court’

PUTRAJAYA: Any attempt to challenge the Election Commission cannot be made in a civil court. It must be carried out in an election court.

Based on this ground, the Fede­ral Court dismissed Pakatan Rakyat’s bid to question the com­mission over the outcome of all 222 parliamentary seats in the 13th general election.
