Animal Welfare Bill requires all businesses dealing with animals to be licensed

PETALING JAYA: Animal shelters, breeders, pet shops, equestrian centres, farms, and slaughterhouses are some of the businesses that will require licensing under the Animal Welfare Bill.

When gazetted, the Bill will require for all individuals and businesses which carry out activities involving animals to obtain a licence.
