Police record statement of victim over alleged rape threat


KUALA LUMPUR: Police spent three-hours on Wednesday recording the statement of anti-GST protester who claimed she was threatened with rape by a Dang Wangi police officer while in police custody last week.

Maisara Amira arrived at the Kuala Lumpur police headquarters along with her lawyers Michelle Yesudas and Mohd Faizal Abdul Rahman at about 11.30am and re-emerged at about 3.30pm.
