Ambiga, three others released as cops fail to get remand order

KUALA LUMPUR: Former Bar Council president and Negara-ku patron Datuk Ambiga Sreenevasan, DAP national organising secretary Anthony Loke, Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) secretary-general S. Arutchelvan and PAS central committee member Dr Hatta Ramli have been released from police custody.

Lawyer Gobind Singh Deo said the magistrate's court here Saturday rejected an application by the police to remand them for four days.
