Selangor Ruler welcomes master plan for state's public transport

SHAH ALAM: Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah has welcomed the Selangor government's decision to draw up a master plan for the state's public transportation system.

"This effort can give benefits and alternative transportation which is cheaper, efficient and safe, and reduces the usage of private vehicles as well as carbon emission," said the Selangor Ruler said in his address at the opening of the state legislative assembly session here Monday.
