PAC: 'Communication breakdown' between NSC and Kelantan led to poor flood management

KUALA LUMPUR: A communication breakdown between the Federal and Kelantan governments contributed to the poor management of the massive floods in the state last December.

The Public Accounts Committee said Monday that the National Security Council (NSC) had admitted to certain weaknesses in managing the disaster, including a lack of cooperation from the state government in pre-flood planning.
