Heavily pregnant woman and unborn baby die in hit-and-run


KUALA LUMPUR: She was due to give birth in two months’ time. A hit-and-run driver, however, left her and the unborn baby dead in Jalan Ipoh.

Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Legal staff officer Deputy Supt Markandan Subramaniam said the woman, who is yet to be identified as her face had been smashed, was crossing Jalan Ipoh near the Petron station at 2.47am yesterday when she was hit by a car.
