Zahid swears he was not paid for penning Paul Phua letter to FBI


KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi (pic) took an oath in the Dewan Rakyat denying he was paid for penning a letter to the United State' Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), vouching for illegal gambling kingpin Paul Phua Wei Seng.

The Home Minister emphasised that the letter sent to the FBI was an act of co-operation to combat international crime between the Malaysian and the US Government.
