PETALING JAYA: Negri Sembilan has taken a step in the right direction to compel couples to divorce if one of them wishes to embrace Islam, said Wanita Umno chief Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil.
She said such a move provided stability and certainty for the non-Muslim ex-spouse and children.
