GEORGE TOWN: Various parts of the state are being lighted up to usher in the Year of the Goat, which falls on Feb 19.

In Bukit Mertajam, Jalan Pasar and parts of Jalan Bunga Raya have been transformed into a fairyland of lights with bright red lanterns and decorations.
