Najib visits Nik Aziz in hospital


PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak on Thursday visited Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat at the Universiti Sains Malaysia Hospital (HUSM) in Kota Baru and prayed for the veteran PAS leader's speedy recovery.

“Just visited Tok Guru Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat at HUSM. Let us all pray that he recovers soon,” the Prime Minister posted on his official Facebook page.

PAS spiritual leader Nik Aziz, 83, was admitted to HUSM on Jan 21 and transferred to the hospital’s intensive care unit the next day.

It was reported that the PAS leader was warded due to prostate cancer and had been undergoing chemotherapy since 2012.
