GEORGE TOWN: Police officers rescued 17 human trafficking victims from Myanmar at a house in Kulim, Kedah, while investigating a murder case.
State CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Mazlan Kesah said a team went to the house yesterday to look for evidence in the murder of a UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) card holder who was found dead in Jalan Ara Kuda, Bukit Mertajam.
