PETALING JAYA: A meeting between Sisters In Islam (SIS) and Islamic authorities at the Selangor Mufti’s office in January 2012 did not touch on the issues of pluralism and liberalism, claimed the feminist group.

The meeting cannot be taken as “evidence” that the two sides met to discuss other issues, SIS said in a statement here yesterday.
