GEORGE TOWN: The time is right for the country to implement the Goods and Services Tax (GST), said Deputy Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun.
Chew, who is also Penang MCA chief, said the GST was an internationally recognised tax system that had been implemented by some 160 countries.
