PETALING JAYA: PKR has refuted reports published by online portals that reported that its political bureau had decided not to submit more names as Mentri Besar candidates for the consideration of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.

"The articles on Malaysiakini and The Malaysian Insider on the Selangor Mentri Besar issue were published without the support of official party sources, and it was an irresponsible act. No discussion was held on the topic of the names of candidates for the Selangor Mentri Besar's post," said PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution Ismail in a statement Wednesday.
