AirAsia offers low fares for Merdeka


PETALING JAYA: AirAsia is celebrating Merdeka with exclusive low fares from RM37 to RM60 for domestic and international destinations.

The booking period for the promotion is from Sept 1 to Sept 7 for travel between Sept 2 and Jan 31, 2015.

“We are happy to mark the nation’s 57th Merdeka by offering exclusive low fares to domestic and international destinations throughout our flight network," AirAsia Berhad head of commercial Spencer Lee said.

“Also in conjunction with the celebration, AirAsia is having a call-to-action campaign to commemorate the occasion with the hashtag #KamiMalaysia, where the public can share photos of ‘what makes them Malaysia’ and tag @AirAsia on Instagram,” he added.

He said that the public are also invited to watch AirAsia’s #KamiMalaysia video on the airline’s official Facebook page and Youtube channel which depicts the harmony and uniqueness of Malaysia.

All-in-fares for domestic destinations starts from RM37 (one way) from Kuala Lumpur to Penang, Johor Baru, Kota Baru, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching.

All-in-fares for international destinations are from RM60 (one way) from Kuala Lumpur to Yogyakarta (Indonesia), Singapore, Hat Yai (Thailand), Kunming (China), Chennai (India) and Da Nang (Vietnam).
