KOTA KINABALU: Malaysia and the United States kicked off a joint military exercise near a seaside settlement in Sabah’s east coast – the site of an intrusion by southern Philippines gunmen in February last year.
The nine-day Malaysia-US Amphibious Exercise 20 (MalUS Amphex 4) began on Monday at Kampung Tanduo in Lahad Datu district and will end on Sept 2.
