No let up in traffic congestion at major highways

PETALING JAYA: There has been no let up in the traffic situation on all the major highways as Malaysians end their long Raya holidays and head back to their workplaces.

Here are some traffic updates at 9.30pm provided by Star Radio Traffic @mytraffic.

PLUS North: Delays for all southbound traffic from Jawi–Bdr Baru (backed up over 12km); Changkat Jering–Menora Tunnel (40km).

PLUS North: Delays for all southbound traffic from Simpang Pulai & Gopeng in both directions (9km); Bidor–Slim River (19km).

PLUS North: Traffic is backed up from Tapah – Gopeng (31km); Kuala Kangsar – Changkat Jering (21km).

PLUS North trunk roads: Still congested on Route 5 at Kapar, Sg Buloh, Kuala Selangor, Tg Karang, Sabak Bernam and Teluk Intan.

PLUS North trunk roads: Route 1 is congested in Kampar, Batu Gajah, Taiping, Parit Buntar, Kulim, Sg Petani, Gurun, Jitra and Changlun-KL.

PLUS South: Expect delays from Simpang Ampat to  Pedas Linggi (23km); Senawang to Nilai (20km).

PLUS South: Yong Peng south to Air Hitam (19km) and from Simpang Renggam south till Senai Utara (40km).

PLUS South trunk road: 20km crawl in both directions between Kuala Pilah town till Ulu Bendol.

KARAK: Traffic at 8km crawl before the Bentong Toll – Lentang.

KARAK: 2km crawl approaching the Gombak toll plaza – Kuala Lumpur.
