RapidKL Monorail back on track, Hang Tuah-Imbi stretch reopened

KUALA LUMPUR: The RapidKL Monorail track between Hang Tuah and Imbi stations has reopened and full service has resumed following its closure since July 2 due to sinkholes that occurred in the area.

"We have been given the green light by our consultant to resume normal service between Hang Tuah and Imbi (stations). We are in the process of injecting more trains onto the mainline," RapidKL Monorail chief operating officer Encik Abdul Hadi Amran said in a statement, adding that normal services had resumed since 4pm Wednesday.
