Man in rape-and-marry case jailed, fined RM10,000 for bribing girl's father

KOTA KINABALU: The Sessions Court on Monday sentenced a convicted child rapist to three days' imprisonment after he pleaded guilty to bribing the girl's father to withdraw a rape report against him.

Judge Ishak Bakri also fined Riduan Masmud RM10,000, in default two months imprisonment, after the 41-year-old man pleaded guilty to the charge on June 4.
