Selangor MB Khalid to seek audience with Sultan over Bible issue

SHAH ALAM: The decision whether to return the seized bibles to the Bible Society of Malaysia (BSM) will only be made by the Sultan of Selangor, said Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim said Tuesday.

Referring to a special meeting with representatives from the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais), Islamic Religious Council (Mais), and state Mufti Datuk Seri Mohd Tamyes Abdul Wahid on Monday, Khalid said several options were discussed, adding that each party presented a different view on the matter.
