Proposed book ‘New Politics’ to answer questions from rakyat

PETALING JAYA: A businessman along with two politicians will be working together towards publishing a book titled 'New Politics’ where the content will be made up of answers to questions from the rakyat.

The book, which estimated to be 200 pages long, will be co written by Businessman Anas Zubedy, Umno politician Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah and Pakatan Rakyat politician Datuk Dr Mujahid Yusof Rawa.

Anas said the public do not necessarily have to ask questions, which are politically inclined.

"Besides my own questions, the public can ask on any topics which cuts across the interest of our people and all of these questions will be answered individually by both politicians.

"Their answers however will not represent the ideologies of the parties they belong to, but merely their own individual opinions based on their experience of being involved in politics," he said on Tuesday.

Anas added that the reason he chose these particular politicians was because they represented the new politics of Malaysia.

"These leaders are willing to take the risk and I would like to support them through it and we all know that being a leader who does not challenge the status quo will never be a successful leader," he said.

Anas added that this book is a platform for three very different Malaysians to address same issues and that that the book will be written in simple words to suit Malaysians from all walks of life.

"Malaysians who are interested to have their questions answered can submit them to aizuddin@zubedy.com and we will pick out 100 good questions.

"The book will first be released in English and we are aiming to print about 2,000 copies after which we would probably aim to publish the E-book," he said
