TOYS imported from China do not meet global safety standards and are potentially hazardous to children as they contain suspected dangerous matter such as cadmium, arsenic ingredients and plumbum, Harian Metro reported.
The report said the contents of these playthings could affect a child’s IQ level, leading to mental retardation, a defective neuro system and even cancer at a young age.
