Some speed test methods are too simplistic, says MCMC

KUALA LUMPUR: There are many methods of testing broadband connections, some of which may be too “generic and simplistic”, said Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).

In response to reports on a survey by Montana US-based global broadband testing company Ookla which found that the average speed in Malaysia is slower than Vietnam and Cambodia, the MCMC said there were other credible international testers.
