Ahmad Razif to hold meeting with PM

KUALA TERENGGANU: Terengganu Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman is expected to meet Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak in Putrajaya today to discuss the crisis in the Terengganu government.

State Tourism and Culture Committee chairman Datuk Mohd Jidin Shafee, in a text message to Bernama, said several assemblymen including him would accompany the Mentri Besar to the meeting.

Mohd Jidin, who is also Permaisuri assemblyman, said Najib would meet the MB after chairing the Cabinet meeting.

Terengganu was thrown into a political quagmire when Kijal assemblyman Datuk Seri Ahmad Said, who resigned as Mentri Besar, quit Umno after his successor Datuk Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman, who is also Seberang Takir assemblyman, was sworn-in on Monday night.
