MALACCA: The Ayer Keroh Fire and Rescue station rescued a seven-year-old boy whose right leg was stuck knee-deep in a squatting toilet in his home in Taman Tasik Utama on Sunday.
Muhammad Daniel Amir, who was bathing about 9.45am when he slipped and got stuck in the toilet, was unharmed in the incident however.
"I heard Daniel screaming and found him stuck knee deep in the toilet," his father Amir Ali, 47, told Bernama when contacted.
Amir said he tried for about half a hour to free his eldest son but failed and called the Fire and Rescue Department.
Ayer Keroh Senior Fire Officer II Mohd Shahril Zauni said they received the distress call at 10.20am and arrived at the victim's house in nine minutes.
He added that they finally managed to free Muhammad Daniel at 11.40am by breaking the toilet bowl. - Bernama
