I almost retired 10 years ago, says Taib

KUCHING: I was on the cusp of retiring a decade ago, says outgoing Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud.

"I'm going to tell you something, which was kept in secret among a small inner circle at PBB," Taib told the audience of hundreds at a Chinese New Year gathering by the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industries on Monday.
