KUCHING: A Balingian by-election is on the cards, said Sarawak Barisan Nasional secretary-general Datuk Dr Stephen Rundi on Sunday.

"We have to fulfil the requirement by SPR (Election Commission) if need be," said Rundi.

"If the by-election is needed (we) go with it as per requirement...up to the SPR to decide. I think you (reporters) know better than me," he added.
