PKR: Khalid is staying as Selangor MB

PETALING JAYA: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) on Thursday quashed rumours that there were moves to replace Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim as Selangor Mentri Besar with party deputy president Azmin Ali during its central leadership meeting last week.

Its secretary-general Datuk Saifuddin Nasution said that the meeting only involved the increase of business fee license in Selangor, concerns over the restructuring of the state water assets and the status of the Langat 2 project as well as the allowance review for members of Selangor assemblymen and Speaker and Deputy Speaker.
