KUALA LUMPUR: The Federal Court has allowed lawyer Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah (pic) to act as deputy public prosecutor in the prosecution's appeal against the acquittal of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on his sodomy charge.
Court of Appeal president Raus Sharif chaired the five-man panel which dismissed the appeal made by Anwar.
Justice Raus said no case was made out to disqualify Muhammad Shafee as a DPP in terms of conflict of interest.
