KUALA LUMPUR: The instruction for government-linked companies (GLCs) to advertise more in Umno-owned newspapers is against the spirit and provisions of the Competition Act, said MCA vice-president Gan Ping Sieu.
He said the order was also legally wrong as it amounted to anti-competition practice.
