KUALA LUMPUR: Some 85% of those accused of corruption were convicted last year, putting the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on par with international anti-corruption agencies.
MACC chief Tan Sri Abu Kassim Mohamed said this was something to be proud of because the conviction rate had reached the international standard of 85%.
