BUTTERWORTH: A soldier broke the sink in his budget hotel room in Jalan Bagan while trying to escape a khalwat raid.
The man, in his 30s, had earlier refused to open his door when ordered to do so by enforcement officers from the Penang Islamic Religious Affairs Department (JAIPP).
