Murder suspect shot dead after attacking cops with knife


KOTA KINABALU: A murder suspect was shot dead when he tried to attack police officers attempting to arrest him in Sabah's Kinabatangan district.

Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Hamza Taib said the suspect became violent and started attacking the police officers with a 'pisau Bugis' (curved knife) when cops asked him to surrender at about 1pm on Wednesday.
