KOTA KINABALU: Trouble is brewing in Sabah DAP with the resignation of an increasingly-isolated Luyang assemblyman Hiew King Cheu as the state advisor.

Hiew said his decision to resign as advisor was due to the action of his four "elected YBs" who called for disciplinary action to be taken against him (Hiew) for supporting Klias assemblyman Datuk Lajim Ukin instead of the party’s choice, Tamparuli assemblyman Datuk Wilfred Bumburing, as the state opposition leader.
