Turning old buses into libraries

JOHOR BARU: The public transport authority in Iskandar Malaysia is giving a “facelift” to old buses and turning them into study centres.

Perbadanan Pengangkutan Awam Iskandar Malaysia (PAIM) chief executive officer Mohd Gadaffie Abd Aziz said that rather than see such buses ending in junkyards, the corporation prefers to refurbish buses that are more than five years old into mobile libraries.
