Suhakam: Set up native land panel

KUALA LUMPUR: An Orang Asal Land Commission comprising retired judges and experts in indigenous culture should be set up to address long-standing problems of the community, said Suhakam commissioner Jannie Lasimbang.

The commission could serve as a “redress mechanism” to resolve many land rights issues brought up by the orang asal for decades.
