PETALING JAYA: With every item on its checklist ticked, the Election Commission is all set to spring into action immediately after Parliament is dissolved with all the changes adopted for the coming national polls.

It has trained 240,000 personnel, designated 8,000 polling centres, secured 50,000 transparent ballot boxes, booked 50 aircraft and 10,000 vehicles, ordered 230,000 bottles of indelible ink and bought about 100,000 ball-point pens.
