Motorcycle cops riding high


KUALA LUMPUR: The motorcycle patrol units (URBs) deployed nationwide have been effective in combating crime with over 80 arrests made since they were launched at the end of last year.

Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said that since their launch on Dec 19, the 560 URBs deployed so far have been taking criminals off the streets with most of the arrests made in Selangor.
