GEORGE TOWN: Police believe the murder case of an 80-year-old caretaker at a temple in Penang Street here last month has been solved with the arrest of seven people and the recovery of almost 90% of the gold reported stolen there.
Penang CID chief SAC Mazlan Kesah said 11 people were initially detained but four of them were later released.
