Norhanim’s ‘Roti Baghdad’ is a big sellout

Crowd favourite: Norhanim’s Roti Baghdad comes in three variations — with fillings of chicken, meat and sardine.

KUALA LUMPUR: A regular customer to Norhanim Husaini’s stall at the Ramadan bazaar in Kerinci here is an Iraqi who goes there to buy her crusty and rustic Roti Baghdad.

“He tells me my bread is similar to the ones back in his country,” said the 30-year-old part-time clerk who works at nearby Universiti Malaya.
