Actor Saiful Apek, friends acquitted of drug charge

PETALING JAYA: Actor and comedian Mohd Saifulazam Mohamed Yusof, better known as Saiful Apek, and his three friends have been acquitted and discharged by a Magistrate's court here for consuming cannabis in 2010.

Magistrate Ahmad Solihin Abd Wahid said the court found that the prosecution had failed to establish a prima facie case against Saiful Apek, 43, Saiful Baharom, 25, Noremy Mohamad, 29, and Shah Zainatul Ehsan Almuazam Shah Yahya, 29, without their defence being called.
