Cheras water supply to be restored

KUALA LUMPUR: Water supply to 13 areas in Cheras, disrupted since Saturday due to a burst inlet pipe, will be restored in stages by tomorrow.

Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) executive director of corporate affairs division, Abdul Halem Mat Som, said following the incident, the Green Code Emergency Action Plan was activated at about 11pm on Saturday and work to repair the burst pipe was completed at about 2am yesterday.
