KUALA LUMPUR: A Bill which seeks to allow the Environmental Quality director-general to issue a stop work order to persons carrying out activities that may cause environmental damage was tabled for first reading at the Dewan Rakyat.
The Environmental Quality (Amendment) Bill 2012 was tabled by Natural Resources and Environment Minister Datuk Seri Douglas Uggah Embas on Thursday.
