PUTRAJAYA: Food manufacturers are bringing the battle against the bulge straight to the consumers by taking up the Government’s challenge to help Malaysians plan their daily calorie intake.

All 68 members of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) food manufacturing group have volunteered to be part of the Health Ministry’s front-of-pack labelling programme, which will indicate exactly how many calories consumers are taking with each serving of their products.
