KOTA KINABALU: Police have recorded a statement from an Egyptian who allegedly hit three people including a Canadian tourist over a kissing incident at a backpackers’ lodge here.
Police located the man, in his 40s, here on Thursday, two weeks after the alleged assault, said deputy city police chief Supt M. Chandra.
