LABUAN: The Education Ministry has shelved plans to introduce the nine-hour work day pilot project, which is scheduled to be implemented in four states next year.
Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin also clarified that it was wrong to call the project a nine-hour affair, pointing out that many had misconceptions on the project which had been undertaken in 19 schools in Melaka Tengah.
