KUALA LUMPUR: The ingenuity behind inventions like Bluetooth, zippers, Tetra Pak and pacemakers will be unveiled during the Sweden-Malaysia Innovation Days next month.
To be held from May 6 to 10, the series of events will kick off with a Nobel gala dinner at KL Hilton with signature dishes from renowned Swedish chef Michael Elfwing.
The campaign is organised by the Swedish embassy together with the Swedish Trade Council and Malaysia-Swedish Business Association and the Special Innovation Unit of the Prime Minister's Department.
There will also be a three-day Indie Youth Festival from May 6 to 8, showcasing local and Swedish music talent and the latest in digital lifestyles at the Pavilion shopping centre.
Among Swedish talent featured would be music producer Patrik Larsson and singer-songwriter duo The Harvest. They will perform and collaborate with Malaysians.
A two-day exhibition will also be held at the mall, featuring innovative-themed cartoons from famous Malaysian and Swedish cartoonists from May 9.
